Kate & Co, a growing women-owned, strategic marketing and communications firm, is looking for a dynamic, full-time Client Advocate to join our team.
Kate & Co. works extensively in the government, corporate, and non-profit world, and we pride ourselves on taking all client projects to the finish line on point, on time, and on budget.
We are looking for a full-time professional who matches our energy and is ready to help our team and our clients shine.
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-orientated individual with a proven track record of strong client relations in the public affairs space. If you are creative, organized, and work well in a high-paced environment, we would love to meet you.
who you are
- 2+ years project management or client relations experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field preferred
- Lives in the Harrisburg, PA region
- Prior experience in public affairs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
- Skilled at remaining organized and balancing multiple projects at the same time
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote work environment
- Available for in-person meetings in the Harrisburg area
- Experience creating communications and marketing strategies
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with clients
- Social media knowledge necessary
what you'll be doing
- Building and maintaining client relationships as a client advocate
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients and overseeing their design, communications, and marketing needs
- Ensuring client satisfaction by working with our team to address issues promptly
- Strategize social media and communications campaigns for clients
- Work as part of a collaborative team on large-scale comms plans, projects, and initiatives
- Periodic travel to client meetings, events, and conferences

Are you ready to apply what you’ve learned in class to real client work? This summer, join the team at kate & co., a full-service marketing and communications agency based in Erie, PA. We work with a wide range of clients and help them build meaningful brands, campaigns, and connections.
We’re looking for a creative, forward-thinking student who’s excited to grow their skills and get hands-on experience in the world of marketing and communications.
what to expect
This internship offers a supportive, collaborative environment where you’ll:
- Contribute to social media content and planning
- Assist with copywriting, research, and media outreach
- Help maintain internal lists and documents
- Sit in on team brainstorms and client discussions
- Learn how an agency runs and how projects go from idea to execution
- 15–20 hours per week, in person at our Erie, PA office
Who We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled college student (Marketing, Comms, or related field preferred)
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute creatively
- Based in or near Erie, PA
